# During the national emergency due to the misunderstanding between media and Amitabh Stardust and all the film magazines formed an association and banned Bachchan for 15 years during his peak. They decided not to print anything about Bachchan. In response, Amitabh Bachan said that he had banned the press from entering his sets almost till the end of 1989.
# In the year 2000, Amitabh stepped up to host television game-show, Kaun Banega Crorepati(KBC). It is said that Bachchan charged a Rs 25 lakhs per weekly episode.# The Canara Bank withdrew its law suit against Bachan in November 2000.
